This ingenious device lets you charge your compatible Garmin GPS using any mini usb cable and Nickel–metal hydride batteries. Garmin does produce a battery pack that is rechargeable in your GPS, this device tells your GPS that a battery pack is installed.
Requires two Nickel–metal hydride batteries (not included); ideally both the same brand/model and new to ensure equal charge. As long as your GPS has the “button” shown in the second photo, this should work.
